When it comes to cool as hell title sequences, the 1979 film The Warriors takes the cake. Throwing us headlong into the frayed world of New York City gang life, Walter Hill sets up the main players and summarizes the entire feel of the film in these few precious moments.

We get to know each Warrior of the crew and their individual personalities in a matter of a few minutes, plus we're given a great deal of information that subsequently sets up the massive meeting between all the gangs of New York City, hosted by Cyrus. Not only that but it's all laid down over a pretty catchy track that sets this hell of a fun ride in motion the second it kicks in.

It's all masterfully put together and sets the tone for one of the most enjoyable films to come out of the waning years of the seventies. Can you dig it?!?!
